Faith Hiton, Co-Director, has her BA from the National Louis University in Elementary Education and Psychology with a major in Learning Disabilities. She's been at Tamarak since 1983 as a teacher, lead teacher and director. Since 1990, Faith has also been the director of the Munchkin Program at Tamarak Day Camp.

Lucia Thoensen, Co-Director, has her BA from the University of Iowa in Elementary Education and her Masters degree from National Louis University in Educational Administration/Supervision. She has been both a fourth grade teacher and reading specialist in Lincolnshire School District 103. She has been a core instructor in the Masters of Education Program at National Louis University, a staff instructor at Concordia University and the director of a pre-school in Nashville,Tennessee. Lucia is certified with the American Camping Association and is a director of Tamarak Day Camp.
